What ages do you work with?

We work with any pediatric (0-18) age, although our specialty areas include toddlers (18 mos-3), preschool (3-5), and elementary ages (5-10)!

What are your specialty areas?

Our specialty areas include neurodiversity, autism, AAC, and gestalt language, feeding, and bilingual speech therapy. We also frequently work with speech sound disorders ("articulation"), early and preschool language delays, and school-aged language disorders. We have advanced training in treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), the gold standard in treating CAS.

Where do you provide services?

We offer office-based therapy services at our cozy office space located at: 522 S Independence Blvd Suite 103, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.

We have limited availability for preschool, private, or homeschool based services within a radius surrounding our office, including Norfolk city.

There are benefits to different therapy locations depending on a child and family's needs. The best way to find what's best is to call and we can discuss what's right for you!

Question 4

Do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

We accept the following insurance plans: Tricare Prime and Select, Anthem/BCBS Commercial Plans, Aetna, Sentara Commercial, Cigna, and Humana Medicaid.  If we are not in network with your health plan, we can work with you to provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement (see attachment). We offer a prompt pay private rate and accept HSA and FSA cards.

Please note that Tricare plans require a referral from a pediatrician, and Tricare Prime requires authorization.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes! We offer teletherapy speech therapy services across the state of Virginia.
